Pause is a simple app. Space. Just you. That philosophy extends to how we handle your data, which is to say, we collect almost none of it.
This policy explains what little information is involved when you use Pause, and what we do with it.
Pause does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The app runs entirely on your device. Your session durations, your preferences, your usage. None of this is sent to us or to any third party. We have no account system, no login, no profile.
We do not use analytics tools. We do not use advertising networks. We do not track you in any way.
Pause uses your device's system settings to determine your preferred language and whether you are using light or dark mode. This information never leaves your device. It is read locally and used only to display the app correctly.
No data is written to your device beyond what iOS or Android requires to run the app normally.
Pause is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see, receive, or store your payment information. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle payment data.
Pause does not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share. There are no advertising partners, analytics providers, or data brokers involved in the operation of this app.
Pause does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. The app contains no user accounts, no data collection, and no communication features.
If we ever change how Pause works in ways that affect privacy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. We will always aim to keep this policy as simple and honest as the app itself.
